Version 5.2.7

Version 5.2.7 is a “Bug Fix” release that addresses 18 general usability and performance issues. It is a recommended update for all v5.0.0 and later users.

  • General
    • Bug Fixed a regression that prevented CueServer 2 hardware from accepting License Codes in certain circumstances.
    • Bug Addressed an issue that prevented Insite firmware from being updated to the latest version.
  • Stage View
    • Bug Now that Cue Lists automatically launch the first cue in the list when no cue is selected, we’ve removed the “Go First Cue” menu item, which is superfluous.
    • Bug Fixed an issue introduced in v5.2.6 that caused the RGB input fields to not function while in Percentage display mode.
    • Bug Fixed a problem with CIE value input fields overflowing their container.
  • Playbacks View
    • Bug Fixed an issue where the flowchart arrows were not being drawn in the same color as the rest of the playback background while the playback was paused.
  • Layouts
    • Bug Fixed indicator flashing for Shared Controls.
    • Bug Addressed a problem where layout objects do not appear “on” when the dimmer/param value > 0.
    • Bug Fixed an issue with the Select Channel function not operating in certain circumstances.
    • Bug Resolved an issue with Select Effect buttons not illuminating when selected.
    • Bug Resolved an issue with Select Effect buttons not toggling effects’ enabled state as expected.
    • Bug Fixed a problem that could cause multiple fixture selection to break generic slider controls.
    • Bug Addressed multiple issues with linking to Shared Controls from layout objects.
    • Bug Improved the behavior of editing text on layouts that have been scaled.
    • Bug Fixed an issue when an object is assigned to toggle an output.
    • Bug Addressed a problem with indicators for buttons assigned to submasters.
  • Fixture Patch
    • Bug Fixed a problem that could cuase a crash if the Fixture Patch panel was exited while directly editing a text field.
  • CueScript
    • Bug Fixed an issue introduced in v5.2.4 that prevented the FACTORY command from operating correctly on CueServer 3 hardware.
