Version 5.1.4

Version 5.1.4 is a maintenance release for all CueServer models with 22 important bug fixes and improvements. It is a recommended update for all v5.0.0 and later users.

  • General
    • New CueServer Studio is now aware of the user’s 24-hour time format preference from the host OS, and displays clocks, time settings, timers, and astronomical time in 24-hour format if preferred.
    • New Added support for additional internal hardware variations.
    • Bug Fixed a regression that caused several text entry fields to no longer enforce the appropriate maximum character count.
    • Bug Fixed a regression the prevented the hint text assigned to several text fields from appearing.
    • Bug Restored the ability of several list boxes to support multiple selections.
  • Navigator Window
    • Bug Addressed an issue that prevented drag-and-drop operations from originating from either of the device/project lists.
  • Stations
    • New Improved the natural sorting order of zone names.
    • Bug Addressed a crash that could occur when switching a station type from ST-DIO588 to either a Mystique or Ultra station.
  • Layout Editor
    • Bug Fixed an issue on Windows that prevented certain shortcut keypresses from working properly.
  • Timers
    • Bug Addressed an issue when changing AM/PM radio button options not properly updating the list description.
  • Functions
    • Bug Fixed a problem that could cause a crash when tabbing between columns.
  • Touchscreen Engine
    • Bug Addressed an issue that caused “Adjust Submaster with Fade” function to not fade.
    • Bug Re-added the accidentally removed “Current Selection” as Target option.
    • Bug Fixed a problem introduced in v5.1.3 that could cause Touchscreen loading issues in certain circumstances.
    • Bug Repaired an issue with Page Navigation buttons not rendering correctly on some browsers.
  • Show Database
    • Bug Addressed an issue that caused the user’s variables to reset in certain situations related to changing global show preferences.
    • Bug Fixed a potential crash when setting/changing non-volatile variables.
  • Fade Engine
    • Bug Fixed an issue that could cause interruptions in DMX updates if more than one output universe is patched to Art-Net or KiNET protocols that are configured to unicast packets to non-existent local IP addresses from CueServer 3 hardware.
  • CueScript
    • Bug Fixed a parsing error in the command STATION x AT PAGE y when y is greater than 255.
  • LCD Display
    • Bug Fixed a bug that would cause the LCD header fields to stop rotating properly if the system clock is set backwards in time.
    • Bug Fixed an issue when changing to a show with a timeout for turning off the display properly after the specified amount of time.
  • macOS Installer
    • Bug Fixed an issue introduced in v5.1.3 with the Plugins directory being omitted from the macOS install.
