Remainder |
Sets the value of objects that are not currently selected | Various |
Abbreviation
REM
Description
The Remainder command has all of the same functionality and behaviors as the At command except that it operates on objects that are not part of the currently selected set.
For example, if Channels 1 through 10 are currently selected, using the command Remainder 50 will set all channels other than 1 through 10 to a value of 50%. This behavior mimics that of many popular lighting consoles that have a REM or REMDIM command.
The Remainder command works on a wide variety of objects such as Channels, Fixtures, Groups, Buttons, Contacts, Outputs, Playbacks, etc.
Examples
Channel 1 At FL Remainder 50
Sets Channel 1 to Full, then sets all other channels to 50%.
Button 3 On Remainder Off
Turns on Button 3, then turns off all other buttons.
Fixture 1>10 At 50 Remainder 0
Sets Fixtures 1 through 10 to 50%, then sets all other fixtures to 0%.
C101 AT FL REM 0
Sets Channel 101 to Full and all other channels to 0%.
